The National Parks Board (NParks) is commencing a six-month trial for a Shuttle Service between Lakeside Garden and Japanese Garden to assess the feasibility of such a service. This trial focuses on improving accessibility between Lakeside Garden and the rejuvenated Chinese and Japanese Gardens.

The Shuttle Service will consist of 11-to-13-seater vehicles, which will ply between North and South Car Parks and Japanese Garden.

The Shuttle Service will have the following stops:

• North Car Park

• South Car Park

• Japanese Garden (Floral Garden)

Details of the Shuttle Service

• Operating hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm, no service between 12 – 1pm.

• 1 cruiser running at approximately 30-minute intervals

• Fee: Free-of-charge

• For safety reasons, the Shuttle Service will suspend its services in the event of heavy rain or lightning warning.

• No food and drinks are allowed in the vehicle.
